APe ToolBox, Process Engineering
Rapid tooling(SLS and SLA)
This involves the development of prototypes and in polyamide material. We produce a prototype from a solid model within 2-3 days. This makes work easier for the customer’s development department since it can work with a full-scale model.
Reversed engineering
3D drawings are produced based on the product. This can also involve converting a product from a welded manufacturing process to being cast.
Optical 3D scanning and digitalisation
This is part of reversed engineering. We can photograph a finished product in 3D and this allows the production of an exact drawing and solid 3D version on the computer.
Fixture and tools
Development of fixture and tools. Simulation in EDGECAM.
Design and casting simulation(Magma)
By simulation a casting, it is possible to calculate where problems may occur in the form of cold pockets and flows. The size of the feeders and risers can be calculated(see included example).
APe quality assurance(PQAP)
This is a complete documentation of how we quality assure the product. This is often done before production starts to minimise errors an to more quickly achieve a finished product. It shows process flows, drawing reviews, error analyses, control plans, and much, much more.
